The Glow in the Darkness

Some Nights

Some nights, I feel pain.
Words are so heavy I can’t carry them,
So I speak silence instead.
There is so much to see, so much to become.
There are thousands of roads to overcome.

Afraid of facing reality,
What if it destroys me?

Life is like a flowing river;
Never be frightened of facing your fears.
It will hurt so much, I know,
But remember: nothing lasts forever —
Neither joy nor pain.

Don’t lose hope in despair.
I know it’s dark,
So pay attention —
Maybe you are the glow.

Some nights, I feel an emptiness inside me,
Something needs to be acquired,
Something bigger than me,
Where language can’t reach.
So, I breathe hope instead.

Whose side do I choose, good or bad?
They are killing my soul.
Some nights, I feel I can’t take it anymore.
I am so tired —
Tired of searching for myself.
I am losing my strength to battle against me.

Some nights, I realize
It’s an endless loop.
There is no end,
Only a beginning

There Is a Light

There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
While you may not see it in the moment,
Don’t lose yourself in that maze of darkness.
Life is sweet, bitter, joyful, filled with laughter, sadness,
And the pain of losing everything all at once.

Despite all of that,
You are going to survive.
You will find your light.
